MEET THE ATTORNEY
Ari Burks graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2022 with honors. Ari went on to complete a 2-year fellowship with the UNM School of Law Border Justice Initiative where she provided pro bono representation to immigrants in New Mexico and Texas. She has experience representing clients in U visas, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Family-based petitions, Adjustment of Status, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, and more.
Ari Burks comes from a family of immigrants from Mexico and Cuba. She recognizes and understands the difficulties of living in the United States without legal or permanent status. She has dedicated her legal career to helping immigrants gain lawful status, and in turn, making our community a more diverse and welcoming space for everyone.
